Yeah, I know the Taylor Cutlery / China-made Sharpfingers are out. I'm looking for an American-made Sharpfinger, and at this point in my search I'll even settle for one of the Camillus or Schrade Sharpfinger kit knives that were made available, as long as it's assembled and U.S.-made. It doesn't have to be brand new, just usable for a while. Of course, I'll need the sheath too.

If anybody can help me out in this year-long quest, please reply to this thread or E-mail me. (Yes, I posted in the "Wanted To Buy" forum also).
Thanks all.

JNieporte- I dont know if you use ebay but there are usually tons of usa made schrade 152ot's ( sharpfinger's) Just search ebay under " Schrade 152ot " or "Schrade Sharp finger" and just make sure in the description It says USA. If you have any doubts Just ask the seller before bidding. If your not fond of ebay Im sure one of us can come up with one for ya to buy or trade for. If ya have no luck here email me at jdsandeno@yahoo.com and I can definatley come up with one for ya just let me know the condition you'd like it to be in and the price range your working with.- Joel

The same here. I want the flat grind carbon steel Old Timer as a user.I saw some at a pawn shop but they were part of a collection and would not sale individually.

The Sharpfinger was Schrade's all-time best selling fixed blade hunting knife. Literally millions were made 1974-2004, most of them carbon steel. There are still plenty to be found on the secondary market, so unless you just want a Chinese stainless copy, it only takes a bit more looking to find an original U.S. made example in any condition from new in the box to well loved. Replacement sheaths still abound too in case you find a deal on one with a poor or missing sheath. Ebay is the most constant source.

I probably have 2 dozen Sharpfingers, or more, from MIB to users to customized versions made from blanks that came from the Schrade Factory.

I probably have half a dozen made by Camillus or ones I have made from the kits. I think I still have 3 unassembled kits.

I have 3 or 4 made by United under the Rigid brand.

As Codger said, they were VERY popular.

I am sure one of us here has an extra Sharpfinger we would part with. :D:D

Email Dale thru his profile guys. We aren't allowed to buy and sell in this forum, but take Dale's hint. I'll certainly vouch for him as a standup guy.
