Looking for a very good kukri. Need help :).

yes, that is a reputable company with fairly low prices, but keep in mind the $40 for shipping from overseas.

There is a BUSSE re-do of the classic Kuhkri, they call it a KZII or a Killa Zilla. It carries a lifetime warranty, and there were a few over on the exchange last I looked.

Are there any decent full-thickness kukris (as in: not machetes) that can be had in the US for less than $100 shipped?

Get a ZILLA!!!

Dennis, where do you think mr. seigle gets his ideas for design and construction? :D He does make a mighty fine, albiet expensive khukuri.

Hi, what is that little notch at the bottom on the blade near the hand guard??

Thanks,

GP

About $30 over your price point, but spend a few bucks more for a Himalayan Imports khukuri and you'll have a tool that your grandkid's grandkids will be using long after you're gone.

Here's my 15" Ank Khola. 3/8" thick and very sharp. I've been using/abusing this blade for several years as my camping/RV chopper. I could polish it up a bit to a mirror shine again, but it's a tool, not a trophy.

+1 to Himalayan Imports. If you want indestructible, you can't do better. Some of them DO come quite dull however, so you may need to spend some time putting an edge on yours.

You could never go wrong with H.I which also known as Honorably Indestructible.

The khuks they offer are overbuilt for toughness.

Thick? How thick? How does 0.5" sound?
