Looking for a Wharncliffe Folding Knife

Hey guys,

During my recent visit to my local gun store, I had a chance to handle Spyderco Yojimbo 2, excellent knife! I was wondering who else makes folding knives with a wharncliffe blade 3" or shorter in length, priced around $250-300. What would you recommend? Thank you!!!

There was a special run of Spydie Delicas that had the wharncliffe blade. Others in the Spydie line are the Techno 2 and Kiwi 4.

I know it's below your budget but I just got a Wharnie Delica with orange handles with S30V and it's amazing! It's my first Wharncliffe blade but probably won't be my last.

Spyderco Delica 4 Wharncliffe in S30V is top pick off hand for me but here is a small list I can find ignoring price mostly

How about a slipjoint? One of the patterns is a Wharncliffe. Its where the blade design came from.

How's the fit, finish and action? I've always found the Be Wharned to have an appealing profile (even if it's a bit tactilol) but I recall reading some negative reviews.

I owned one, and it...ah, it wasn't great. That said, the last three quarters of an inch of the blade was all tip, which was SUPER thin and stabby. If you wanted to wood carve, you could make really great and really detailed cuts with it.

• A small CRK Insingo or Inkosi Insingo. Both are going for $300 ish in the ti version in good to very good condition on the exchange now.
• I have a small used Insingo I bought 2 or 3 years ago for $275.

Warne Delica can still be found and assorted tanto style blades are available. CRK makes since sweet tanto style and so does Benchmade.
