Looking for advice on a a good set of knife maintenance screwdrivers. I've seen sets by Chapman, Weaver, Wheeler, CK Tool, Brownells etc. and am wondering what other grinders/ makers recommend. Prefer a high quality multi bit set, over individual handles for space saving / transportation reasons. All advise welcome.

My inexperience must be showing... but how does one use screwdrivers in knife maintenance? Not seeing the connection.

Bladsmth, thanks for the link, looks like some good items there. Tryppyr, we use torx screws for attaching the scales, and all kinds of pivot screws, clip screws, lockface insert screws etc. for knife making / asembly. A good driver / set of bits can be very useful for takedown, cleaning, lubrication, modification, maintenance, etc. You probably knew that..

Actually, I didn't know it. Like I said I'm inexperienced here. Almost all the knives I've owned were riveted, epoxied or pinned.

Ah well I should mention that many of the new style folders make use of the Torx style screws, and for pivots, there are many unusual designs for adjustable tension screws.
