Looking for advice on a pocket-sized lock-blade

Well it finally happened. I lost my knife (again). It was a $30-$0 Gerber. Did it's job but didn't hold an edge too well.

Now I'm looking to you guys for advice on a pocket-sized lockblade knife. I'm willing to spend up to around $100. I think I'd like the blade to just be straight, none of that half-serrated stuff this time. It has to have a belt-clip, sheath unnecessary.

I know there's probably a ton of knives out there that will fit my needs but I would like quality, something that will keep an edge and last for a long time.

Oh, and please try to keep acronyms to a minimum, as I'll probably have no idea what you're talking about :)

Thanks in advance

What do you plan on using the knife for? If you are going for an every day carry (EDC), I would buy either the Spyderco Delica or Endura in VG-10, the Mini Benchmade Ascent, or the Camillus EDC in 154CM or D-2. There are TONS of great everyday carry knives. I would check out 1sks.com and see what is out there and what size you really want.
Good luck and welcome to BF!
Matt

I'll beat 7 or 8 of you to the punch. For that size, I would suggest you look at the Spyderco Native. In the past, I carried a EZ-Out for about 2 years. I now carry a VG-10 Endura, but I have found I like a little larger blade. I actually cut myself less with it than any others I have carried that were smaller.

I ALSO suggest the FRN (light-weight) Spyderco Endura...Or if you find it to be just alittle too large (I don't, but then, I also carry a Cold Steel Vaquero Grande!.), there is the smaller Spyderco FRN Delica to consider.
