Hello
I need help on which fixed tactical knife to buy, I was thinking about the camillus CQB Any suggestions

I have one of the 6" Camillus CUDA CQB knives. While useless for any practical application, this knife is fantastically overbuild, durable, and razor-sharp. The canvas micarta is incredibly "grippy", unlike finer micartas.

Found mine on closeout for $30, but they can also be found on eBay. Perhaps some online dealers have some remaining also.

Best Wishes,
Bob

I have a CQB and also the similar Benchmade Nimravus. I much prefer the Nimravus. The finger choils on the CQB are too shallow in my opinion. The Nimravus has a much more secure grip.

An added bonus for the Nimravus is that you can get it in outstanding M2 carbon steel.

Hi bladeXpert,

As best I can remember I paid about $110 plus shipping for my Nimravus in M2 steel, which I ordered from the Knife Outlet earlier this year. M2 is an excellent carbon steel with a reputation for outstanding edge-holding. The Nimravus is also made with ATS-34, in case you want stainless steel. The ATS-34 version cost about $10 less than the M2 version.

I chose the M2 version mainly because I did not already own any knives made from M2 steel. But I think the ATS-34 version should do just fine for all practical purposes, and you won't need to worry about rust.

KA-BAR TDI.

If you want a knife for SD, get one actually designed for SD and that is a legit SD tool.

The TDI is extremely practical, too.
