Hi if you are looking for an affordable fix blade I would highly recommend te Boker Vox Rold. It is perfect I have had it for 7 months now and I must say it was worth the money. Super sharp D2 steel with that perfect choil for fine work. 2 thumbs up boker! Also perfect for chopping left that out originally

I thought it was a sweet looking knife when they first introduced it but then I heard they were having sheath issues. How is the sheath on yours?

Not gonna lie the sheath is the only flaw it is lose like it will fall out of you don't button it and some of my friends our starting work with kidex so my first mission is to make one for it. The only decent part about the sheath is the belt clip it comes with cause you can slide the inside part out and then put it on your belt with out undoing your belt.

But other than the sheath which the knife itself make up for, it is just a perfect blade IMO
So yeah to sum it all up to me the knife is worth dealing with a crappy sheath

i though that i read boker sorted out their initial sheath problems. ColtonB, i would contact boker's customer service and see if they can do anything for you.

Maybe they have I don't really know since I bought mine 7 months ago definately something to look into but like I said I just love this knife

that's good to hear, i was thinking about picking one up, there isn't many reviews on this knife. question: could you post some pics of your knife? how thick is the blade at the spine?

I might be able to get some pics soon and when I do I'll be sure to let you know. Yeah the few reviews scared me at the beginning but my gamble was a good one
I think it is advertised at about 1/4 thick but it is 3/16 inches thick which I find more ideal
If I can't get any pics up tonight I'll have them up tomorow

Got some pics for you no in field use but I got a couple quick photos to show it off
