I like the idea of a fixed blade with a finger hole in the front like the Emerson "La Griffe" model as it has no possibility of slipping past the sharp part

I have seen posted pics of some knives from Strider (I think) make of ceramic or Ti for weight also the Cold steel Braveheart looks good but not much for a handle stop.

Do you? the knife enthusiast have any other suggestions

BTW: this is just an all around knife. To be used daily and I am constantly looking for a knife. Funny as I ALWAYS have my gun but nothing to open a damn box :)

Thanks in advance for the help :)

CRKT "Bear Claw" is similar to the Perrin La Griffe (beefier handle than the Emerson and longer blade) and is only about $25.

Fallkniven WM1 - nice EDC that can be used for neck or belt carry. Nice sized handle for the blade size and integrated guard.

If you want something small like La Griffe, check out Cousin Jack's work.

I would say his work, and he approver, looked Perrin's inspired, but not a copy.

Seriously the guy makes great small knives. Of course they cost a little more but it's custom work.
