I remember as a kid reading an article where one or two individuals built a small log shelter using one or two large knives only. I would like to read this article again, but can not find it! Any help would be appreciated!

Here's what I believe might help us find the article:
1) It was in a knife book at the local library: Knives 'YY sometime in the 1980's is probably it!
2) I believe the knife (knives) they used were Al Mar's, probably the Pathfinder!
3) The article was several pages long and had several pictures of the shelter, which was really a mini-log cabin!

Any/all help in either identifying or leading me to the article is greatly appreciated! :)

Thank you!

Plainsman- I have a long out of print book by Jerry Younkins called; Field Knife Evaluations.

There is a section about the then made Blackjack Knives Marauder II bolo style knives. The author states that he believed it to be the finest blade of its type for longterm survival. It shows pics of him building a perminant survival
Cabin out of pine logs. According to him, he fell, debarked, cut to length and knotched all logs for the cabin with the help of two Marauder II knives. If its the article, ill take some pics of the article and send them to you.
