Looking for assistance in a search for a Western L66 style knife.

Recently while going through things in my father's personal effects, (Departed this life in June), I was sorting his small collection of knives and I came across a Western Co L66, which my father carried as a personal knife during his time in the Army and that he carried for a good portion of my childhood.

I'm wondering if there is a company out there that makes a good quality knife that looks similar for my own personal use to go along with my father's knife (which will be my weekend companion). It doesn't need to be leather handled but something that comes close to the overall design.

New to the forums and any input would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for your loss, that is a tough circumstance for anyone to come to grips with.
As far as the knife goes, I'd recommend having one of our talented custom makers try and design something similar for you. It would not be as expensive as you may think, you can probably get a good upgraded steel and a choice of handle materials and sheath to boot.
