Hey all,
I'm looking for an axe carrying case, I love the one ray mears sells as a "woodlore folding bucksaw case" I don't need one to carry a buck saw or anything else I just want the axe case like that one. I would order one but they have been out of stock forever.
Does anyone know where I can get one that is a similar design? Or maybe any of the sheath makers or leather guys on here might make something like this?
I'd like it of it had some other small pockets and stuff so I could make a little kit out of the bag, I want it for day trips or maybe if I do a multi day trip I could bring it along so processing wood at my campsite would be easier.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I don't know if you need exactly something like Rey is selling, with this material cover and all, but for a day trip, I would suggest something like this, or similar.
If you have a rather small ax of course ;) You could have some pouches, or other strapping systems to it, and it would fit on your belt, so it's easy to carry around ;)

Yea I have sheaths with belt loops and carry my hatchet like that but I want this for a full size axe, I like to have one when I go out for fatwood and stuff and also sometimes I carry one for my small wood stove and canvas tent when we camp locally in the winter.

OK, in that case, you'll just have to order something like Rey is selling ;) Combination of ax blade cover, and canvas sleeve.

A gentle reminder, if you offer your services on this forum the rules dictate that you must have a craftsman membership.

Worth every penny. :)
