Looking for Axe handle information

My apologies if this is posted in the wrong forum. Several years ago, I acquired a lot of vintage axe handles at an auction in Pennsylvania. Several "Hartwell Hickory" a "Red Chief" and a "Blue Oak" axe handle were part of the lot. My internet searches for the history of these manufacturers pretty much come up empty. Any information available would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
