Looking for big general purpose axe

Right now the axe I have is an Estwing. It is about 26" long. It really isn't that bad, but I would like something more substantial. The head/blade or whatever is pretty thin and light, so spliting anything is a pain.

Basically I want a big axe, that I can take out camping and cut down and chop up a decent size tree for the campfire. Something that I can cop through a log easy enough, but that I can also use to split the wood into smaller pieces if need be.

I was looking at the Gransfors Bruks American Felling Axe, and it seems to be about what I am looking for, albeit a bit on the pricey side.

Do you guys think this would be a good axe for what I am talking about and also are there any similar axes out there?

Thanks ahead of time.

That axe sounds exactly suited what you are looking for, Jim Aston has used it, you might want to drop him an email.

Iltis has a felling axe which is much cheaper, and will handle chopping fine, but isn't much of a splitter.
