Hey all

I'm not sure where to put this, so if this is the wrong place, sorry mods. Please feel free to move it

I just found out that boker is making their kwaiken flipper in vg-10. The only reason I never got one was that I cant justify shelling out $100+ for aus-8...vg-10 is just fine, however, so i just ordered one. I am big on tinkering, and I have in mind a sweet scale idea for these. I want to play around with them in solidworks, but I need a dimensioned template to work with so I get the hole positions right.

Does anyone have a dimensioned drawing, in any format, that i can either upload into solidworks or just recreate in solidworks from the dimensions?

Please pm me or post here or whatever. I'd be very grateful.

Just take it apart when you get it and use the existing scale or liner to get all the data you need for Solidworks. Should be a pretty easy scale conversion as there isn't really much to them. At least no inletting for nested liners.

Good luck!

yeah, that's what I'll most likely end up doing. I'm just stoked about the knife and want to get the designs inputted so I can 3d print the scales and just attach them when it gets here. Maybe if anyone has one, they could take the scales and take some pictures for me next to a ruler so I can see the dimensions? I need to know the distance between holes, their sizes etc on top of the outside dimensions

even better would be if someone has a sheet of grid ruled paper and could take a picture of the scales on the paper and let me know the grid size
