Looking for CQC7 Stand Offs.

Can't find them premade anywhere. Rumor was there is another knife with the same stand off dimensions readily available. Any direction appreciated!

Never thought to put standoffs on mine, but I bet it will look great! Do you have any pictures?
 
There are some from a custom CQC7 but I don't want to use pics without permission. I think there was a video on YouTube. I'll post that if I can find it.
 
Google; McMaster/Carr.
I forget the measurements but these standoffs work.
 
Are you trying to buy standoffs for a standard production Emerson? I thought the screws don't line up for a standoff to work.
 
Yes. I didn't take mine out yet, but if they can do backspacers, I'm sure stand offs can be switched in. Even if there was no threading, it just needs to thread into the other side of the liner and scale. I was about to dissect a Cryo, but those were too thin. :(

No luck. McMaster/Carr just had spacers. I want a groove in there. Still nothing.
 
Looked up McMaster/Carr standoffs. A lot of different options out there.

Don't know if you would need a threaded standoff, since the grip screws screw into the liners on either side.

Anyone have any more detailed info?

What size are they, dont think you need threaded but itd be added stability imo.
 
Maybe I'm not understanding something, but how would standoffs work in a standard Emerson? The screw holes on one side do not match up with the screw holes on the other side. So there's no way to anchor the standoff without drilling. The only Emerson that I have that works with standoffs is the Combat Karambit, simply because the 2012 model comes standard with standoffs.
