Looking for Date on Vintage Schrade

I am looking for information on how to determine the date of the knife we just got from my Fathers collection. It’s a Uncle Henry Schrade USA 171 UH. Serial # is 000762

Here you go Julie....as you can see the tang stamp dates 1973-2004 ...the 171UH was produced
1971-1983 (the first two years having the birds head pommel)
1990-1991 All of these are shown in the catalogs with a flat pommel.
