Looking for EDC folder under 2.5"

I've searched quite a bit and have not been able to find too many and none of which I have any experience with. The only true limitation is the knife blade must be less than 2.5". I prefer a folder and hopefully have it cost less than $100, but I would entertain purchasing a knife outside of those two parameters as well.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated, especially if you have experience with it.

Thanks in advance!

Leatherman Micra, and other small leathermans
Ka-bar mini dozier I think is 2.5in
Spyderco ladybug, manbug, bug, honeybee, grasshopper, and probably a few more (lots of bugs in the spyderco line)
Victorinox Class, Rally, Rambler, etc

And there are plenty of others but these are what I can think of off hand. Personally I wouldn't have much of an issue with any of those except mabey the smaller honeybee, bug, grasshopper but thats due to personal preference. I own the micra, rally, and full size ka-bar dozier hunter all of which are good knives. Personally I get the rambler and pair it up with something along the lines of the manbug or mini dozier as the rambler has a lot of small useful tools and combined with a bigger blade of the mini dozier or manbug and you be set. Blade on the micra is quite usable too, on the smaller Victorinox knives not so much in my opinion unless your doing small detailed work I just don't trust them and prefer something sturdier. Though thats personal preference.

EDITED IN:
Some full size swiss army knives have a 2.5in blade. Off hand they are the Victorinox recruit which I just measured and should be the cadet as well. If I am not mistaken pretty much any 84mm model should have a max blade length of 2.5in. Don't underestimate them they are great knives and I have never heard anyone say otherwise.

With that in mind I would probably get the Rambler, and pair it up with a Cadet, mini dozier, manbug. I like pairing up the smaller swiss army knives with a larger knife as it just fills in all the gaps nicely. And you still have a knife on you if you forget your primary knife but you have your keys (if you attach it to your keychain).

Thanks for taking the time to read and give me some ideas.

Please keep them coming guys!

boker -com series.. wharcom, subcom, and theres a hawkbill one too idk the name.
spyderco poliwog- i think they are pricey tho
boker nano

Spyderco Squeak, SOG Bluto, Böker Nano, Spyderco Ambitious (I think), and I am kind of out of ideas. I don't know many tiny blades, but I kept it only to ones that have pocket clips and one-hand opening.

Opinel, not sure which number is under the 2.5, probably the 8 or 7? But rest assured, they make it, varying in size from 2 to 12 in general.

Both carbon and stainless.

Basic carbon is like $10 and fir me they are the best EDC due to blade shape.

It's an eatin' knife if I've ever seen one which is a big part of my needs and a great utility tool.

Pick one up regardless, you'll live it ;)

Opinel 7 and 8 are both over 3 inches. Lack of pocket clip and no 1-handed opening makes Opinels horrid EDCs for me...though they're fun to have around the house.

I'll chime in my vote for Spyderco Dragonfly or Ladybug/Manbug. Cold Steel Tuff Lite, Mini Tuff Lite and Micro-Recon all work for me as well.

I second the Spyderco Squeak, love the slipjoint aspect and the deep carry wire clip is to die for. I also carry a Kershaw Shuffle, which is just under 2.5" in blade length and a Kershaw Scallion, 2.25" blade with Speedsafe opening. If they made a Ladybug/Manbug with a clip, I'd be all over them because I prefer a clip to keep my knife above the fray of my pockets lol

Dragonfly 2 - Whichever style / material list suits your fancy
Case Peanut

Wow, four Dragonfly posts in a row. Folks sure do love them.

Have to disagree, though. I have four Dragonfly knives of various models, and two Kopas, and IMO the Cold Steel Tuff Lite > all my Dragonfly knives and the Mini Tuff Lite > the bug series knives, at least if you're actually cutting anything.

I carry an Al Mar SLB daily as a cash clip
