Looking for European custom knife sellers..

I'm tired of looking at the beautiful knives being sold here with 95% only available to US or with (probably) very high shipping (insurance, tracking, can't blame them)
Are there any European custom makers who sell their stuff here?

Do you know any other website (or shops with prices listed) which sell European custom knives?

There are PLENTY of European (and even Dutch, my country) custom makers but I can't find them!

Try the dutch knifeforum: www.messenforum.nl , or the Belgian knifeforum www.weapons.be , or the German knifeforum www.messerforum.net, or the French forum www.neoczen.org, or the British forum www.britishblades.com. Loads and loads of European makers show their work on these forums.

And if you can't find dutch knifemakers, you haven't been paying attention. There was the DKE recently (Dutch Knife Exhibition). You should have been there! ;) Some of them also post on this forum (Toni Oostendorp, Erik Markman), I post a lot of knives from my collection here...

Hope this helps a bit.

Kind regards,

Jos

Thanks.

But this is exactly what I mean. They don't sell knives on those websites (like here on Bladeforums).
Britishblades doesn't sell anything.
Messenforum.nl I have to register first so I don't know if they actually sell anything.
Messenforum.be seems broken.

I also have no intention of visiting a show or exhibition. I like knives, that's it, not enough to go visit something which is probably 200km. away from me anyway.

Yes, on messenforum.nl knives get sold. Not a lot of customs in the "for sale" section, but you can always contact the knifemakers to see if knives are available. A lot of dutch knifemakers post their new work there.
messenforum.be doesn't work because it's called weapons.be . You can contact the knifemakers on there, they won't bite! ;)
Who told you that BritishBlades doesn't sell anything? scroll down to "portobello road", there's the "maker sales" subforum, and the "classifieds" section.

What kind of knives are you interested in? Maybe I can point you in the right direction...

Kind regards,

Jos

I meant weapons.be :)

I don't want to contact knife makers, I want to leisurely browse custom knives for sale just like you can do on this forum.
I love browsing Ebay (and other webshops) for stuff I like and can afford.

A list with custom makers webshops would even suffice.

Do you have a direct link to portobello road because I really can't find that section.

Britishblades doesn't sell anything. Wrong. There are literally hundreds of knives for sale on BB with many makers posting their knives for sale.

I also have no intention of visiting a show or exhibition. I like knives, that's it, not enough to go visit something which is probably 200km. away from me anyway. 200 klicks is a leisurely 2 hour drive.......I drive that to go for dinner......

.........

Yes you have to register before you can see the for sale sections. for pictures check out other sections than just the "for sale" because most makers have so many orders that they don't have knives for sale.
