I might have a opportunity to look at a knife shortly that is supposed to be a early W.R. Case & Son Cutlery Company Fixed Blade Butcher Knife. This is not my area of expertise, and I'm hoping someone here can help me with some information...
Does anybody have any examples of W.R. Case & Son Cut. Co. blade stamp prior to becoming W.R. Case & Sons? Can anybody here confirm that W.R. Case & Son made/offered a fixed blade during this period? Say 1902-1903...?
The only thing I know about it at this point is that it's a very old butcher style fixed blade, that is stamped W.R. Case & Son Cut. Co., with no other known markings on it.
Any information/light you can shed would be appreciated!
