I'm looking for a good knife kit.

Something I could put together and stick in my pocket as a user when I'm done.

I would like it to be a folder with a pocket clip.

I do have some wood working tools such as a band saw, power sanders, drills, dremal, etc.
But I would like my first kit to be preaty simple to put together.

What's a good first knife kit.

Thanks
pahl

DDR's knife kits are the best in customizable folder kits available, some of these have been so nice they wound up on Ebay as a custom folder,(this was a major controversy awhile back, on some other forums and BBS's) that's how nice they could look.

Here's a link to site where you can get info on the kits.

Definately the DDR knife kits would work very well. Also they look very nice and would be a great politically-correct knife that you could use without the public freaking out.

I've seen some pictures of completed DDR 605 kits that looked GORGEOUS. The knife also looks to be a great, practical EDC.

I made a DDR 605 special about a year ago. It was a breeze, and made an awesome knife. There's a mini available now also, if the normal 605 is bigger than what you normally carry.

Getting to see all the details of a knife designed so well really helped me along with making my own folders too.
