I have been tasked by my site NCOIC (Non Commissioned Officer In Charge) here at Al Asad, Iraq, to locate a knife that is suitable as a gift for our Civilian Contractors, maybe 50 knives total. They will be purchased by him personally, not the government, so it needs to be inexpensive, but have some quality, (like that can happen in today's world.) He would like to have the unit logo or something put on it. I have a Zippo from my navy days, but they don't make knives anymore. Any help would be appreciated, thanks Joel. it may take me a day or two to respond.

you could go with something like a stainless leek. They should be relatively simple to have engraved.

For example: Bass Pro Link

(*note, this was not necessarily the best PRICE, just a decent link/pic.)

Why not a SS Delica / Endura / Dragonfly? All engraveable, well priced, well performing knives.

Buck 110 or 112 is always a classic and a great knife for a great price. The kershaw leek or chive would make a nice engraved knife with a nice flat surface to work with. They run between 35 and 45 bucks each online.

<$20 Byrd Finch G-10
<$30 Byrd Robin G-10, Crow G-10, Cara Cara Stainless, CaraCara G-10 Full Flat Ground, Boker WharCom, SubCom,ResCom
Ontario Rat
Kershaw Oso Sweet or Stainless Chive

What about bulk deal on SAK classic? anyone know where to find that. Or you can get off brand with inscriptions.

Any knife in the Buck Vantage line will make a good gift. It's a known American brand and this particular model is made in USA. The cheapest starts at around $20. It also has a rather wide blade, which means more space for engravings.

Edit: another even cheaper option is Kershaw LFK at around $15. It has aluminum scales, which can be engraved.
