Looking for gold wire/rod

I usually make most of my thumbstuds out of titanium and anodize them but I just finished a folder that I feel deserves a gold thumbstud with stone set in it. I have the stones, but i'm looking for
8 gauge (.128) or 6 gauge (.162) gold wire. I contacted rio grande and have not heard back from them yet. Any one else have a source?
