I use a lot of cord stops in my lanyards. I generally get the oval tower type you can find at Wal-Mart in packs of four, and for a while they did just fine. Just lately I've been noticing that the springs are getting weaker and weaker, and won't hold tight on the paracord anymore. So I'm hoping the more experienced members around here might know of a particular brand or style of cord stops that are known for strong spring retention.

there is a company called Ryans Products LLC that you can get the ITW Nexus buckles and cord locks. I've ordered from them several times and have had no problems.

ITW Nexus is the best for any kind of plastic buckles and stops. Many imitators, but I don't think there is any real competition.
