Looking for Good topo map programs for Android devices

Hey Guys, I'm looking for good Topo map programs for Android devices. The App? must be able to download maps to the device for offline/off grid use. The Ability to use freely downloadable Topo maps would be nice. If you guys have any experience with this stuff, any help would be great. Thanks!

Gaia gps is one I use. It was free on Amazon a while back not sure the cost but for getting it free it works great

Delorme has an excellent package. Pretty expensive through their Earthmate software and GPS devices. You tether the smartphone to the GPS unit to download maps.

Thanks for the ideas and links. I've been playing with the Backcountry Navagator Demo for the last few hours. Tried 2 others, but they got deleted after 10 minutes. Once the demo expires, I think I'll be buying the Pro version.

There is an article in the June issue of American Hunter titled "Can a Cell Phone Replace a GPS?" by Frank Miniter You might want to try to dig it up. I'm just reading it now, but it might be useful to you. It mentions Trimble GPS Hunt Pro and iHunt Journal.
