Here is a profile I came up with in the picture below. Blade length is 4.5" and thickness is .182". I might just re-do it and make it a narrower blade. But I do think it looks cool and would like to know what is a cool handle that would go with it (if there is one).

Something's not quite right about the handle that I drew on paper. Or maybe it's the blade. Your thoughts are welcome.

Thank you,
Andy

Can’t go wrong with nickel bolsters on ironwood, maybe a hollow pin through the bottom of the tang for a lanyard hole and securing the scales.

I like how the grind on this 113 curves. It is less abrupt. I also like how the handle is rounded, giving no chance for hot spots. When it comes to handle materials i like burls, horn, bone, stuff like that. That's all I have, good luck!

edit: I suggest a nice sharpening choil as well!

^^Like Bob said.

That tang makes me nervous. It seems disproportionately thin compared to the heft of the blade. But I'm no knifemaker.

I can’t make the tang wider so maybe make the blade more narrow so it has less heft?

redsquid2 redsquid2 Red, I think that's a handsome solution. I don't know if there is a formula for tang-to-blade ratio, but it seemed disproportionate to my amateur eye. You can save the original blade shape for another piece of steel stock.
