I got this dagger at an estate sale about 30 years ago and it has been in storage since. It looks like it may be Bhutanese, but that's only my guess. Any help on identification would be appreciated. I've got a lot of other unknowns in my collection, but I'll start with this one.

You can still ask for information about a knife, and that information might help you to determine the value on your own.

If you're not going to purchase a Gold membership, I'd suggest editing out the part of your opening post asking for value. Otherwise this thread will likely be deleted by a Moderator.

Speak of the Moderator, and he appears . Spooky, ain't it. 😁

I was just about to hit "post" when Blues posted.

Based on a quick google search it does appear to be a Bhutan dagger. Looks like a carved ivory handle, and lots of intricate engraving on the pommel and sheath. I would bet that it's fairly valuable. Maybe look for someplace that can do a proper appraisal?

Hey, hey... I don't work for you, buddy.

And if I do...you owe me some back pay. 🤣
