I got this is a trade and was curious of age and any other specifics about it. It's jigged bone, damascus blade with BUCK 110V on the tang. Thanks

Well, that's 1989...looks like a Custom Shoppe item (or whatever it was called then)...

navajoprincess2b on eBay has 110's like this...usually BIN for [whatever she wants!]...IIRC...

Thanks guys. I traded one of my 5160 wormed grooved bone hunters for it. Here's another pic with the blade open.

 ...That is one beautiful DM 110...and I don't usually appreciate Damascas...You did very well Scott...

...Please Lord...do NOT allow me to get hooked on "Bone or Antler and Damascas"...

I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. :D I'm up well into the fifties as far as 110's in my collection. I do have the stag/damascus 110 with box and papers that came out in the late 80's. One of these days I'll take a pic of the entire bunch that I've got. The 110 is my all time favorite knife. What more can I say.:D

No problemo, Darryl...Get a Wal-Mart 110 re-bladed w/Damascus from Buck; punch out the blade, and put it in one of your dozens of Nickel Silver Sambar stag/Elk 110 frames...a little buffing, and poof!...Your own custom Damascus 110!!! ;)

That's probably the best looking damascus I've seen, and I really like that jigged bone the more I see it. A really nice looking knife.

My first dilema was FG or not. Now I'm sure I'll go FG. Still up in the air over pins or no pins.
Goose,
Here are my thoughts on pins. I have a stag 110 with pins from the 80's and it looks great, however my newer stag110 has finger grooves and since it narrows the profile I went without the pins. So, FG = no pins; no FG = pins

There is also a smooth stag version from this same parker steel time period. It was a run of 250 for the 1990 blade show.
