Hey Gang,
Been reflecting on a Fixed blade I saw a show recently that I thought was pretty nice. Went to do some searching and have come up empty handed.
The Makers name had the state of Kentucky in the logo and the name was either;
D.R. Gilcumb
DR Gilcumd
DR Gilcomb
Can't remember the spelling exactly. I doubt the DR was for Doctor but I can't remember if the initials has any periods after them (don't know if that makes any difference). I just liked the knife and hate to be stumped when trying to research.
I've tried the Knives Annuals, no luck. Also, did a Goog Search for all the above with "Knives" and came up zero. I also tried a few of the older pubs like Knives Digest - nothing.
I suspect that he has trained with a well known Maker because his work was clean but that could be entirely wrong.
Any help in locating any info about this Maker would be appreciated.
