Hello,
I recently acquired a large collection of knifes. There are a couple of knifes that have buttons. I'm having a hard time finding more information on these. I believe one might be a paratrooper knife. I'm not sure what the other one is. Looking for more information. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Welcome! I’d remove the mention of price and let the masses tell you what you have.

Removed reference to ebay and price evaluation

The brown one was made by the Pressbutton Knife company prior to 1923. George Schrade created the Pressbutton Knife Company in 1893 and sold it to Walden in 1903.
If the black one is about 7" overall it may be a WW2 paratrooper knife, Mk1. There was a similar civilian model also, Schrade No. 1553 3/4, 4 1/4" closed and 7 3/16 open.

One thing to note about the Pressbutton knife - its supposed to have a folding crossguard like the Case Cheetah. I think the model name was "Victor", which would have been etched on the blade.

...just to say, friend, that the plural of knife is knives. MANY of us have made that same mistake.
Good luck finding value...but as mentioned, eBay may provide help.
