My wife received some knives that her father got in Germany sometime around 1950.
The blades on the cleaver and cutting knife have a picture with deer on them and they are all real ivory handles with cravings in each one. One of the knives is a six inch cleaver style, there is a sharpener, one that looks like a curved pair of scissors (sort of) with ivory handles that have a bird carved into them, there is a fork style, and a 8 or 9" long cutting knife.
It appears to be a five piece set of some sort.
Any one know of a more precise year and any info on them?
