Greetings, everybody. I am trying to find information on a fixed blade Imperial knife that was in my grandfather’s tackle box. I originally posted in the general forum, they suggested I post in the Schrade Imperial forum. Below you will find URL's to a couple pics. My grandfather passed in 1972. A couple years ago I received his tackle box, and this knife was in it. I’ve found tang stamp information for Imperial knives, but not for this knife, which is stamped with the word “Imperial” in cursive and nothing else. I would love to know more about this knife. Any information would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

I have one of these. Your blade is much reduced by sharpening over the years. I've not seen the Imperial script marking on any other pattern of knife, fixed or folding. My guess, and I can only guess, is that this knife was made for them by another maker some time in the early to mid 1930's. Kinfolks is my chief suspect.
