Hi there, I'm a metal artist who collects tools and scrap metal for my projects. This was in a box of old tools that was gifted to me. I'm always interested in the history of the tools I find so I was hoping to learn more about this hatchet head and possibly how old it is. I'm not looking for a value on this, I'm purely interested in the history behind the axe. It has the AmericanAx, Glassport PA logo on the bottom edge.
