I was gifted this custom stag handle knife from my grandfather years ago and I've tried to look up information on it and the knifemaker several times now to no avail. I was hoping maybe one of you oldheads might be able to tell me a little bit about it and maybe an approximate value to it. It's a beautiful knife and seems to be very well made, the only markings I have seen on is it Couchman which I assume to be the knifemakers name. I was able to find one Couchman online who was active in the 70s and 80s out of New Mexico who is now unfortunately deceased, but I couldn't find any of his other works to possibly compare it too. If anyone could pass along some knowledge it would be greatly appreciated!
