A guy on another forum is looking for a knife he used to own. The only info he had was that it was a Kershaw model 4300. I am having trouble coming up with a solid answer for him. It is a two bladed knife with wood handles. Can anyone give any info on this knife? It looks exactly like the Whiskey Gap, but with two blades.

Thanks

It is called " Justin" and is 2 1/2 inches closed with 1 7/8 main blade and an 1 3/8 sheepfoot blade. I have nearly 100 of it's smaller brother the "Ranch" I will look around and see if I have an extra Justin. It actually doesn't look that much like the whiskey gap, it is considerably different. Picture is a 4350 which does look close to the 4300.

Thanks a lot for your help. I appreciate it. I will relay the information.

I'm the guy looking for the 4300. It was my favorite knife for many years, but the spring broke in half. The "Whiskey River" #4350 looks identical to it, but I don't think mine was quite 3" long. Any help in locating one would be much appreciated.

Reviving this old thread to post a huge thanks to kershawguy (Dave) for finding me a Justin knife. He sent me a heads-up on this thread: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=290285298194

. . . earlier today and I won the knife! I am ecstatic. The only downside is the seller has 0 feedback, so hopefully all will go well. He has several other knives listed, so that's encouraging. Thanks again, Dave! :)

The knife arrived yesterday--exactly as described (NIB!) and I am thrilled beyond words. Yippee and many thanks to kershawguy (Dave)!!!
