What Wick said and Wick is VERY knowledgeable about the subject.....as for inof on the net - there is some out there, but if you are really serious about learning the subject than books and other printed research are absolutley necessary to get a more complete view of the subject - a subject that is not a simple one and where what where and when are a major part of understanding what really was and what is myth or Hollywoood fantasy - neither are better or worse, but there is a difference between what was and what may have been when studying "period" knives and sheaths. There is also exacting reproduction and there is historically inspired.
