I've learned that full integral knives were introduced almost simultaneously by Ted Dowell and G.W. Stone. Ok, re-introduced, as Ted told me he found an example of a Viking sword of integral construction! Anyway, I have deicided to focus my collecting on getting examples of integrals by the various established makers, and especially the original Guild members and their generation.

Please let me know if you have any information on a particular maker who made an integral. Of course I'm looking for knives, but I also need information on which makers produced an integral, what style it was, model name, number produced, etc. If you own an example that isn't for sale, a photo would go along way.

Thanks to all for your help
Greg

IMHO, these guys are at the top when it comes to integrals:

Ditmar Kressler (have handled many at shows, closest things to perfection in knife making I've seen)
Ricardo Velarde (own one, learned from Kressler)
Reinhard Tschager (own one, a master craftsman AND artisan)

I own a nice TM Dowell full integral hunter, and have handled Davidson's work also... both very good also.
