Hi, I'm new to this whole forum thing so please bare with me. I have a knife that my dad gave me years ago that his dad gave to him and I'm trying to find out if it's worth hanging on to or if someone is looking to add it to their collection. It might be worthless,I don't know. Engraved on the blade above the handle it says 'LAMPLOUGH CUTLERY SOLINGEN'. Above that engraved horizontal on blade it says 'Buffalo Skinner'. On the opposite side of blade above handle is engraved BS 3 1/2. Which I figured to be the blade size. On the leather sheath where the handle lays it says 'MADE IN GERMANY', and it also has an Elk on the sheath where the blade goes in. Altogether it's about 7 1/4 long. I will try to insert pics but if it doesn't work I can email them to you.
