Hello everyone. I am a generalist antique dealer who is pretty clueless when it comes to knives, guns and their accessories lol. Anyway, I have on consignment a group of what I have been told are 18th to mid-19th C. musket accessories (the powder horn is easy, as it's dated 1738).......along with this group came this little knife. I've been told it is a patch knife, but have been advised to do more research. It's very small, 5 1/2" long total, with the blade about 2 1/8" long. Any help would be greatly appreciated, even just some pointers for further research
. TIA for any help.
