I bought a few knives at a gun show years ago. Two are from Jeff Cover and one from AT Bloomer. I have searched the net many times trying in vain to find out who these two are and if they are considered good makers.

Thanks that is the most information I have seen on them ever.
I think I paid about $150 each, so would guess I did ok?

The first one has a few nice elements. Tapered tang, dovetail scale-bolster junction, damascus etc. You should certainly enjoy owning it.

Those are fine handmade knives.
You did good.

Cover I've heard of ~10y ago. Quality maker, second tier IIRC.

I am not very up on terms. When you say second tier is that good or bad? I am going to guess not big name charge thousands for a knife, but still good quality?

Thanks for everyone who posted as well.

By second tier I mean he's not very visible aka "well known". Some of the best value is in lesser known makers. Your knife has obviously good fit/finish. Use it and see if it works good too. The top one appears familiar as if I've seen it or the pattern before. The Bloomer looks like someone loved it :)

Ok I understand that. The Bloomer is my favorite little bird knife which I have used on a few turkey and pheasant that I had shot in the past. The blade is 2.75" 6.5" overall. I love the filing on the back of the blade and bolster.
