Looking for info on W.R.Case Dealers knife display

Iam looking for info on a couple W.R.Case Knives that are in Dealer Display frames,one is a scatchet bowie knife in a dealer display and the otherone has a picture of W.R.Case on theBowie blade and the handle is stag slabs with a silver eagle head butt,i know where these are for sale from a collecter but have no idea of the value can you help?He also has the Johnny cash display and the diplay that has the different manufacturing process of the pocket knife blades,pretty nice stuff,iam just lost on the value of these,ebay has a couple listed at 600.00 but this seems like a very top dollar price,am I wrong?

Hope I don't get in trouble for answering, afterall your not asking what YOUR knife is worth (that's against the rules)...

How long have they been for sale? Remember stuff is only worth what someone will pay, if they've been for sale for along time its pretty obvious they're not worth that, what would you feel comfy paying? Why not start off (with cash in hand, in person) at 1/2 that and go from there?

Another thing to keep in mind, rarity is bad for value, if there's only a few of those known its going to be very hard to establish a value, again just talk to the guy, probabily not a big demand for them.
