Looking for information about a knife

My mother gave me this knife a while back. It's a small three blade pocket knife. She said it was my father's (now deceased). The main blade is stamped:
Imperials Prov RIA
The blade at the other end has:
228-4833
P2689400
2479855
The color is a bluish mother of pearl?

I know the Imperial Knife Co. made the knife (from what little information I could find out myself). I am trying to determine what the style is called, when the knife was made and what its value is today. Any help is appreciated!
