Hello Everyone,
About a month ago I posted about 2 case knives I found separate from the rest of my fathers collection. They were determined to be sowbelly stockman's with the acrylic handle as the number "7" designation would suggest. most likely these were suppose to be a "his and hers" anniversary present on my 11th wedding anniversary (steel).
Anyway, I have finally had some time after Christmas to inventory the rest of his case collection.
As before I'm not selling them so I am not interested in Pricing.
I am more just looking for General information about the knives such as types, years, handle materials if any are special editions or limited productions, and just general knowledge about them (I am particularly interested in the Tabaco Congress ones)
And finally just to share these with anyone who would like to see them
Also the two acrylic sowbelly's that I originally posted about are also included in this post with better pictures.

More knives in the reply comments (waiting on admin approval to make the replies public)

Top one looks like a split spring equal end whittler, to me, based on the blades. I may be wrong though.
I know nothing on the MOP single blade, or the others, other than they are a two blade jack knife, unless my old eyes are playing tricks on me.
Excellent collection. 😁

The MOP is a 3 blade, so are the rest, but they were so stiff I couldn’t get them out, my thumbnails are ground down to nubs now, most of the 3 blades I could only get the main blade to open, their are more knives to see in the comments but the are awaiting admin approval be public.

My oops. I couldn't see the other blades.
Love the 3 blade gunboat canoes, engraved bolster canoes, and five blade Sowbelly Stockman's.
A drop or three of oil on the joints may make the stuck blades unstuck, after sitting for a bit.

Thanks for sharing those handsome and fascinating examples from your father's Case collection!:cool::cool::thumbsup:

Here are a 3 links that you might find helpful in learning more about your knives, based on their tang stamps.

This link contains info on the "dot system" used for year of manufacture, and a "key" for the handle material that appears as the first digit in the pattern number: https://www.casexx.com/Library/Secret.asp

This link contains a "tang stamp chart" with info that facilitates dating Case knives made before the "dot system" was introduced in 1970: https://www.casexx.com/Library/TangStamp.asp

This link has brief descriptions (and often photos) of almost every pattern number used by Case: https://www.allaboutpocketknives.co...guide/factory-pattern-number-reference-guide/

I believe all of the knives in the first post are Case Classics as well as a few others in the following posts. Most, but not all, of the Case Classics were made by Queen Cutlery. I'm not sure which patterns were and which patterns weren't made by Queen.
