Looking for information and value on knife

Hi, I have a knife that I was wondering if you might be able to provide some information about it for me. It was made by Don Norris in 2003 and it is marked number 396 with Damascus steel. I would really like to know what the handle is made of because it looks really nice. I like the knife a lot but I am also thinking about selling it to buy a better throwing knife. I was wondering if anyone might have any information about the knife or Don Norris before I made a decision and also if you could give it an approximate value. I took some pictures also of the knife. I love this knife so much I had to buy it but its a collectible and not for daily use I think. I just made this account and don't know how to add pictures. The handle looks like wood but it is reflective and and almost opalescent but it is is brown with waves of darker brown. about 14 inches less than a pound. I'm looking for information about the maker, and the handle which is remarkable. Thank you

To the OP, you said you liked it so much you had to buy it, well I would say it is probably worth what you paid for it unless you got a scorching good deal, but you wouldn't know if you did.
