I am looking for information regarding a group of knives. There are five knives in a wooden display case. The knives are serial numbered with shilds labeled fisherman, lumberman, miner, farmer, rancher. There is a gold card with information stating that the set was put together to honor the men
whose strength made America strong. It is a Shrade Classic Cutlery group. I found a picture from posted in www.collectors-of-shrades-r.us from 2006. I am trying to find the value of this set. Any help you can provide will be appreciated.

If they come with the original boxes and certificates of authentication, they would be worth approximately $50 to $60 per knife, on a good day, and depending on the buyer. Better with those boxes than in the wooden display in my opinion. Both would be best. They sell better individually than as a set.

These sets came in at least three colors of bone: red, grey and green. I bought the display you mention, without boxes, in grey bone for $193.50 in January. Then I picked up a couple individual red ones to break somebody's set, because... um... I wanted them.
