Looking for information on the Lagana tomahawk

Recently I stumbled across the American Tomahawk Company page and discovered the Lagana model, also just called the VTAC. And when they include pictures of our boys proudly carrying them, the marketing hype gets tough to resist.

But can anyone here tell if the Lagana is actually a good model compared to other tomahawks on the market? How does the nylon handle hold up? How well does the head stay mounted to the shaft? It there anything I should know before committing to one? Anything other than the usual "buy an RMJ" advice?

Buy an RMJ. . .
Actually there have been some post on here showing it to be a very tough tool. I saw a video of a hummer running over the handle while its propped on a curb. I'm sure they will post soon.

I've written up numerous posts on the VTAC. Type VTAC in the search bar at the top and all will be available.
