Looking for knife mod advice...

Hello all, I am thinking about having the handle on my cabs made shorter. Any advice on where to start or who might do a quality job? Thanks.

i would do it myself. it's kinda nice to hold a finished product and say you did it yourself.

or you could send it back to the custom shop.

I had the top pommel flare of my kz2 removed at the custom shop, total of 75$+14.95$ shipping (89.95). The cabs may be a little less since it wouldn't have to be coated, but you would have to email garth to know. well... I don't know how busse wants such things to be handled, so:

you could call the office and ask if garth was available/if they are accepting any custom modifications on the cabs or not. benefit of sending it in: full warranty on everything including the modificaiton and better resale than if you do it yourself. Some of the higher end custom makers modifications go for the same value or slightly higher (like bans work), but for a customer done modification your looking at a drop in resale value.
