Looking for knife model

I'm trying to find a knife my father always carried. It was a 3 blade, yellow handles with the imperial shield on the handle. I thought it was a stockman because of the blade configuration but I haven’t been able to find one that looks like it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look thru the 1959 Imperial catalog archived by LRV and see if you can spot it. You haven't given us much info to go on.

You might know that the original Schrade closed their doors a few years ago.

Someone subsequently bought the "Schrade" name, and knives are being sold today with that name.
But today's "Schrade" company is unrelated to the original Schrade.

Their knives are manufactured in China. The original Schrade knives were manufactured in the USA.

If you want to find a knife like your father had, I suggest you look on eBay or the Exchange here on Bladeforums.

Thanks. It's similiar to the 3 Blade 834Y stockman but it had the shield. I may be confusing it with his old timer for the 3 blades but I don't think so.

Those are on ebay on a regular basis. $20 to $70. Nice knife. 1946 until 1973. And much later as well, with a different tang stamp. Also see one about the same stamped 8OTY (8 Old Timer Yellow).
