lOOKING FOR KNIFE THROWING BUDDIES

Not new to knives as i've sold all types for last 8 years including throwers. Not new to throwing as i've been throwing for last 2 years.
Consider myself good with 10-12 inch and gh axes most throws at 21 feet.
What i am new at is finding people to throw with, share methods and maybe
some laughs. I live in calif. East shasta mountains so yes plenty room for
throwing and fresh air. So anyone up this way with the same interest or
have a club, know of a club? Please reply thanks

If you're anywhere near Ventura California, you can probably stop by the Cold Steel building and throw with those guys.

I'm a little closer to you than Ventura, but not close enough to stop by regularly. You may want to check with some black powder shooters to see if there are any rendezvous in your area, they usually have knife and hawk throwing at their events. That's how I first got involved with it when I was about 10. My local gun club would host a black powder gathering and they had informal competitions, playing cards on a log round, carton of milk, baloons, all stuff that makes it fun to watch. You may even be able to pick up some more throwing gear if they have vendors.

just remember to remind the people you throw with about bounce backs so they dont sue your ass if something does happen. Cali just seems so letigious so be careful on who you throw with. I accept that crap does happen but a lot of people will turn on you in a hurry if something bad does happen.
