I'm looking for a knife with a 4" blade as close in shape to the cold steel mini bushman as possible. straight spine with a forward rake (fairly pronounced belly).

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

If you want to spend a bit more, I recently had Justin at Ranger Knives (RANGERKNIVES.COM) make me a "RD" model with a 4'' blade that's 1/4inch thick. Not sure if that fits the bill...it's a lot thicker balde than the Mini-Bushman, but a super durable knife that's compact enough to be worn every day. The knife was still under $100.00, including shipping, and Justin was great to deal with.

Check out Bark River Knives. They make just about every style of blade you can think of, and they have an endless array of handle materials, as well. (and some of the best customer service in the business-Bark River Scout w/desert ironwood handles shown below)

Going along the BRKT line, if you want a knife with a belly, the Fox River is a good choice. The Gameskeeper is also another bomb prof knife. If you want to Ontario RATs are good knives for the price. The TAK is right up your alley. There are soooooooo many possiblies out there, maybe if you say what price range you looking at (if there is any) and what you'll be using the knife for would be helpful.
