what i am looking at is the Benchmade Contego, just wondering if there are any knives that are comparable. I know Spyderco has one.. but im looking for a standard recurve/tanto/spear point blade.

As far as glass breakers, this is the list I have come up with:

Benchmade Triage 915
Benchmade 810 Contego
Spyderco Assist
Kershaw Blur
Victorinox Swiss Army Rescue Tool
CRKT M16 - 14ZLEK
Benchmade 9052 AFO II Tanto
Buck TOPS Responder CSAR-T
Boker Magnum First Responder
Smith & Wesson Military & Police MAGIC Assisted
Chris Reeves Umnumzaan

DPx HEST has a glass breaker but it's not carbide, just a pointy steel cone.

Smith and Wesson has a knife with a glass breaker and a belt cutter, it has a tanto blade as well.

Having busted a bit of car glass here & there, I can say you don't need a carbide tip on it.
It's the pointed configuration of the pommel end, weight of the blade, and knowing where to strike the glass that's more important.

If its a glassbreaker for tempered car windows have a look at Holmatro -spring loaded glass breaker. Simply place the tip on the glass pullback and release. No need to put your hand through the glass.
A spring loaded centre punch from the hardware shop works as well. I have a S&W first responder. It has a serrated cutting edge and the tip is a flat screwdriver (blunt to avoid any further injury to victims) & a spring loaded glass breaker. Only one problem and that is the glassbreaker can release and fly off into the darkness never to be seen again. The Holmatro tool is better IMO.
